The Asia-Pacific Centre for Social Investment and Philanthropy at Swinburne University of Technology provides postgraduate education for potential and current venture philanthropists. It offers graduate programs at Master and PhD levels, as well as conducting workshops and seminars. It also undertakes research and provides specialised consultancy services in all aspects of philanthropy and social investment - whether by private or family donors or by companies.

A pledge of financial support for its work has been given by The Pratt Foundation and The Myer Foundation.

Social Investment and Philanthropy at Swinburne is located within the Faculty of Business and Enterprise. Staff members undertake professional teaching and research in grant making and philanthropy at postgraduate level, and also offer consultancy services.
