Austin Paterson joined The R.E. Ross Trust in September 2008 from his position as Executive Officer of G21 Health and Wellbeing Pillar, where he worked to develop and foster partnerships amongst primary health care, health promotion and community development organisations operating across five Local Government Areas in Geelong.
Prior to joining G21, Austin held senior management and chief executive positions at aged and community care agencies, Karingal Inc, Kalkee Community, Strathdon Community and Bellarine Peninuslar Community Health Service, in both Melbourne and the Barwon South West region. Key achievements led by Austin in these positions include the establishment of a Community Partnership Initiative for people living in aged care at Strathdon Community; the establishment of a new aged care community in Marshall, Geelong and the harmonious amalgamation of all Community Health Services on the Bellarine Peninsula.
