The Caledonia Foundation was established in 2002, by the Executives of the Caledonia Investments group of companies. Caledonia Investments was established in 1992, and the group currently manages investment portfolios for approximately 300 families and individuals in Australia.

The Caledonia Foundation primarily focuses on areas related to the future sustainability of young Australians. The Caledonia Foundation will typically direct contributions to organisations that focus on the advancement, education, training and well-being of the children and youth of Australia.
